Verbier Botza Market

Sunday market in Verbier, I have developed my product line to include arnica creme from flowers of the Grand Combin for your aching muschles, as well as pots of mint & lemon balm tea, and a new mixture of cooking herbs.
To add to the fun I am also selling some lavender sachets which work wonders at keeping bugs out of your long underwear - plus you wont have to wash them all season!!

Mont Fort Sunrise

Meeting arnica! So much fun to hike from the rocky alpine slopes of the col des Gentianes down to the sweet meadows of Verbier. We not only stopped to admire the different flora along the way, but even used arnica flowers where we were hurt!

Forget the sunrise! The full moon was up over the Massif du Mont Blanc at the same time! Absolutely breathtaking and unique!

Ovronnaz

We set off by chairlift, ahhh what an awesome way to get up, and were then walking in the fresh mountain air with amazing views into the Rhone valley and accross to the Grand Combin. From over here you really can see that it is worthy of being called a 'massif' just like the Mont Blanc.

Edelweiss

So my clients asked to see some wild Eidelweiss. The challenge was set...and we ended up in a FIELD of them up by the Mauvoisin dam at the end of the val de Bagnes. A success!

Verbier's off-piste

So much fun to hike where we ski off-piste in the winter. We climbed up the col de Creblet and ate our pic-nic with the stupendous view of the Lac des Vaux, then we traveresed around to be at Col des Mines. Looks mighty different without snow! And I wont even mention the views of the Combins...

Verbier has started a market for regional bio products every Sunday from 9:00 to 13:00 for July & August! What fun it was to meet people and let them know about my walks. So if you don't have a sticker or just want to see me - come on by on Sunday!

After the rainforest we went to the beach to walk on the 80 meter high trees that have washed up on shore to dip ourselves into the tide pools - wow!
